Daniel Reaches Plea Agreement with the Government

On Friday, March 20, Daniel reached a plea agreement with the government.

Daniel, with his defense, came to an agreement with the government. We don't know what the actual agreement was, though, yet. We will likely find out on April 9th, unless the hearing date is adjusted. This means the case won't go to trial and Daniel will be accepting the plea deal he came to with the government.

Daniel will likely be changing his plea from not guilty to guilty for one or more of the counts he's charged with. In the coming weeks, we'll understand what the actual deal was that was reached and what sentencing will officially be. This is the biggest development in the case since the charges were first brought. Daniel will now likely be pleading guilty and we will know his sentence sooner than originally expected.
